As you plan for the cost of your project remember there are two types of window treatments:
1. Custom Window Treatments - Properly made to measure and a Financial Investment
2. Ready Made Window Treatments or Online - Typically Made In China, Low Quality and Inexpensive
You may choose to do custom in some rooms and ready made or online window treatments in other rooms. Either way, remember that you get what you pay for and though ready made can be a nice solution for a child's room, it is not typically something you will want for your main living areas or areas where you want blackout drapery like a master or guest bedroom.
Online images are photoshopped to look like custom so just be aware that there is no viable replacement for custom window treatments online if you are looking for quality or a designer look. That being said, we are a custom and designer company and our prices start as low as you can go for custom and will go up into high end design prices. We work very hard to give the best pricing possible for a quality product and our service can't be beat.
Drapery Up To 120" (if your widow is wider just double the price accordingly)
1. Tier 1 (typically solids and some patterns in a more casual fabric)
Single Window up to 60" wide - Drapery - $400-$600 per window - Hardware $150 - $250 per window - Total $550 - $850 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window up to 90" wide - Drapery - $600 - $900 per window - Hardware $200 - $300 per window - Total $700 - $1200 per window plus tax and installation
2. Tier 2 (typically quality casual patterns and solid silks)
Single Window up to 60" wide - Drapery - $600-$800 per window - Hardware $250 - $400 per window - Total $850 - $1200 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window up to 90" wide - Drapery - $900 - $1200 per window - Hardware $300 - $500 per window - Total $1200 - $1700 per window plus tax and installation
3. Tier 3 (typically designer fabrics or embroidery)
Single Window up to 60" wide - Drapery - $800-$1200 per window - Hardware $400 - $600 per window - Total $1200 - $1800 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window up to 90" wide - Drapery - $1200 - $1800 per window - Hardware $500 - $800 per window - Total $1700 - $2600 per window plus tax and installation
Installation for drapery runs $9 per rod foot with a minimum $100 trip charge
Shades and Top Treatments
1. Tier 1 (typically wood blinds and roller shades)
Single Window $200-$300 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window $400 - $600 per window per window plus tax and installation
2. Tier 2 (typically woven wood shades, basic roman shades and basic top treatments)
Single Window $300-$500 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window $600 - $1000 per window per window plus tax and installation
1. Tier 3 (tyically silhouette, vignette, designer roman shades and shutters)
Single Window $500-$800 per window plus tax and installation
Double Window $1000 - $1600 per window per window plus tax and installation
Installation for blinds runs around $25 per single window
Bedding
1. Tier 1 (entry level custom bedding including fillers)
Queen $1500 - $2000 per set
King $2000 - $2500 per set
2. Tier 2 (designer custom bedding including fillers)
Queen $2000 - $3500
King $2500 - $4000
