Many Hunter Douglas window fashions can be motorized with our exclusive, easy-to-install Platinum™ Technology systems. In growing numbers, consumers are enjoying the convenience of PowerRise®, PowerGlide® and PowerTilt™ systems doing the work of raising, lowering, traversing or tilting their window coverings. And because these systems are powered by batteries or a DC power supply plugged into a nearby outlet, no “hard wiring” through walls or ceilings is required.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Platinum™ Technology is a proprietary wireless communication system from Hunter Douglas that uses two kinds of wireless signals (infrared and radio frequency) for the ultimate in window covering control. Customers can control window coverings individually or in groups from a simple remote or wireless wall switch — or even from their iPhone® or iPad®.
THE PLATINUM APP
The new Platinum App works with interface componentry from Hunter Douglas to enable control of recent PowerRise 2.1 and PowerGlide 2.1 products using Apple® mobile devices.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE
All window fashions are covered by the Hunter Douglas Lifetime Guarantee, recognized as the most comprehensive protection available in the window covering industry. The Lifetime Guarantee covers motors and circuitry for a full five years.
HARD-WIRED MOTORIZED PRODUCTS
Due to the general nature of wireless devices, communication signals may not always reach the intended receiver unit with 100% reliability. For applications that require the greatest reliability, hard-wired systems are recommended.
However, hard-wired motorized products require very specific knowledge to be effectively marketed and installed.
